B37 Project Great Success Over Summer!
Over the last few weeks during the Summer holidays, the B37 Project held
a range of community projects at Chelmsley Wood Shopping Centre.
transformed an empty unit in to an art gallery called The Green Estate, that
hosted an amazing 36 family workshops such as celebrating 100 years of women’s
rights to vote, 12 exhibitions including a photography competition which the
centre funded a £300 prize for and a Summer art course for 16 -24 year olds.
They had 2200 visits from members of the public and plenty of positive feedback.
The B37 Project support local projects in art, food and the environment.
The centre have been working closely with them since 2016, when they were one of
the community funding winners of the Project Dirt scheme.
